Girls-Giving 2023

This holiday season we hosted and awarded Black professionals in the healing space who are doing the work in the community to help combat intergenerational trauma for the families we serve. The room was filled with mental health professionals, financial experts, survivors, healthcare advocacy workers, and women who are helping to create change for Black women and girls. The theme was “Giving Flowers” and it was wonderful to see the joy present.

The event involved a round table discussion and action planning on how we can further collaborate across our respective areas of expertise to impact the local and global community. Nominees left with a certificate of recognition and a token of appreciation. There is so much for us to be thankful for here at the Daughters Den.
